Logistics and Secure Shipping

I'm worried about shipping a delicate piece. Is it safe?

It is our priority. We do not ship "packages"; instead, we carefully wrap each artwork to ensure its safety. Depending on the fragility of the piece, we use custom-made wooden crates or multi-layer high-density packaging. Additionally, for your complete peace of mind, all our shipments are insured for 100% of their value. In the unlikely event of any mishap during transit, your investment is fully protected.

 

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

Art requires patience, and secure packaging does too. Our preparation time in the workshop is 2 to 4 business days, dedicated to building the appropriate packaging for your piece. Once shipped, transit time is usually 24-72 hours within Spain and 3 to 9 days in the rest of Europe, depending on the shipping method and buyer's urgency (you can pay more for faster shipping). For other countries (non-European), please contact us to confirm an approximate time, as this varies depending on the region of the world. 

 

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. Art knows no borders. We ship to collectors worldwide. Please note that shipments outside the European Union may be subject to customs procedures and import taxes, which are the responsibility of the buyer. We take care of preparing all necessary export documentation to expedite the process.

 

 

Guarantees and Returns

What happens if the artwork doesn't fit in my space when I receive it?

We understand that art should harmonize with its environment. If, upon receiving the artwork, you feel it's not for you, you have 14 calendar days to request a return. We only ask that the artwork be returned in the same condition and with the same level of protective packaging as it was sent. (You can consult full details in our Returns Policy).

 

Can I view the artworks in person before purchasing?

Currently, El Taller del Coleccionista operates as a private online archive and does not have an exhibition space open to the general public. However, we strive to offer a digital experience as close to reality as possible, with high-resolution photographs (which we will improve over time) and detailed descriptions of every nuance. In the near future, we will build a virtual gallery on this website to optimize the visitor experience. If you need a video of a specific piece or want to see a particular detail, please do not hesitate to contact us.

 

How do you guarantee the authenticity of the artworks?

At El Taller del Coleccionista, we do not sell anything we haven't previously studied. Each artwork is delivered with a Documentation Dossier that compiles all the information obtained during our research process: era, attribution, technique, and, when available, the provenance history. Our work is based on transparency: you will receive both historical certainties and technical analysis data that validate the piece.

 

Are the artworks restored?

 Most of our pieces are in their original state. We believe in the beauty of patina and respecting the traces of time. However, all artworks undergo a preventive conservation process to ensure their stability.  If any piece has required major restoration, this detail will be explicitly indicated in its technical data sheet.
