Bon à tirer proof of Curled Nude by Carbonell, from Rull (Noies), printed at Masafumi Yamamoto’s workshop.
This print belongs to Rull (Noies), conceived in March 1985 as a collaboration between Carbonell and Catalan writer Pep Albanell.
The female figure curls inward, almost in a fetal posture, against a dense, textured ground. Aquatint creates dark surroundings that contrast with the pale body defined by the white of the paper.
The print was hand-pulled in Masafumi Yamamoto’s Barcelona workshop. Dark aquatint areas contrast with the lighter passages forming the curled body. The plate mark remains visible around the image.

Condition: Excellent. Intact paper.
The Taller Note
The black areas contrast with the pale paper and emphasise the nude’s curled posture. The pencil annotation “Bon a Tirer” appears below the image.
