There are artworks that strike you with the force of a universal truth. "S’homu que no tenía barca" is one of them. Since its arrival at the Workshop, this painting has dominated the space, not only due to its size but also its raw honesty. What fascinates me is the tension David Monrós creates: the human figure, huddled and isolated, burns with a palette of vibrant, almost electric colors, as if its inner world were a volcano of emotions.
