Emma Richardson combines a fine-art education with an international music career. A founding member of Band of Skulls and bassist with Pixies, she works across painting and music. Dynamite offers a visual reading of the relationship between those practices.

Dense red and yellow impasto layers meet Prussian blues and darker tones. Friction between colours and the speed of the gestural brushwork give the title a visual counterpart.
