The street and theatre
The arches, windows and balcony of the Teatre Principal form the background. Small pedestrians and vehicles occupy the street, with a Metro entrance in the foreground.
Yellows and pink washes
Yellow touches concentrate in the trees’ sparse foliage. Pale pink washes appear on parts of the building and street among broad reserves of pale paper. The right margin retains the note “PAGANS 1 color rosat”.

The Taller Note
Two tall trees stand between the viewer and the theatre façade. Yellow touches gather in their sparse foliage, while pale pink washes appear on parts of the building and street. Small pedestrians and vehicles animate the lower half of the composition. The Metro entrance anchors the foreground, and the repeated arches, windows and balcony lines give the architectural backdrop a steady rhythm.
